To the eye, dazzling, crystal-clear, citrine yellow gold enlivened by a delicate, shimmering effervescence.
On the nose, the fruit emerges as delicate, golden, muted exotic fruits-mango and kiwifruit-and dried fruit-hazelnut, almond and fig. A touch of iodine enhances the wine’s flawless nose. The mild spices reflect the wine´s depth-white pepper, smoked tea and cocoa.
In the mouth, a wine with depth but also honed, precise, in harmony. Voluptuous delicacy with meringue notes. Subtle nuances evoke distant lands-mind teat, lime, kumquat and exotic fruits such as pineapple and candied ginger.
Grape Varieties: 70% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Noir
Dosage: 9.5 g/l
Perfect wine pairing with lobster, crayfish, stuffed crab, grilled oysters, well-seasoned shellfish, tempura coated seafood or vegetables and lemon meringue with fresh fruits – enjoy
“Super stylish, toasty nose with lovely floral and gunpowdery tones as well as tropical fruit, orange peel and candy notes. Super linear, driven, energetic palate which huge intensity and richness. Drinking perfectly today with lot’s of delicious ageing elements but very much in the fresh and vibrant side. This is a serial winner, we chose it as the Best Champagne at FINE Champagne magazine in 2011. ”

Stunning 2002 Vintage that truly lives up to all the hype achieved by the numerous awards and accolades it has recently achieved.
Drinking superbly with precise finese and citric/lemon/orange notes as you first zip this beautiful Wine, so full of quality and intensity that this rivals the very best 2002 Vintages.
I have absolutely no doubt this will only get better with further cellaring and I for one look forward to tasting it in in a few years time.
Enjoyed exquisitely with French Oysters, a second course of Dover Sole, while ending with a wonderful fresh fruit platter.
